Pain management

At Ceva, we are dedicated to developing innovative pain management solutions to improve ruminant welfare, working in partnership with UK veterinarians to support farmers through our NSAID portfolio.

Ketofen 10% 

• Cattle: for the treatment of parturient paresis, pyrexia associated with respiratory disease, improving recovery from acute mastitis, reduction of udder oedema and reduction of pain associated with lameness  
• Horses: for the alleviation of muscluloskeletal inflammation and pain, and pain associated with colic.
• Pigs: for the reduction of pyrexia and respiratory rate associated with respiratory disease and for supportive treatment of Mastitis metritis Agalactia Syndrome in sows.

Meloxidyl 20mg/ml 

• Cattle: to reduce clinical signs of acute respiratory infection, for use in diarrhoea in calves and young cattle, for treatment of acute mastitis and for pain relief following dehorning.
• Horses: for the alleviation of muscluloskeletal inflammation and pain, and pain associated with colic.
• Pigs: to reduce symptoms of lameness and inflammation in locomotor disorders and for treatment of puerperal septicaemia and toxaemia.

Allevinix

• Cattle: for adjunctive therapy in the treatment of bovine respiratory diseases, endotoxemia and acute mastitis. Alleviation of acute inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders and also reduction of post-operative pain associated with dehorning in calves.
• Horses: For the alleviation of acute inflammation and pain associated with musculo-skeletal disorders. Alleviation of visceral pain associated with colic. Adjunctive therapy of endotoxemia due to or as a result of post-surgical or medical conditions or diseases that result in impaired blood circulation in the gastrointestinal tract. Reduction of pyrexia.
• Pigs: For the adjunctive therapy in the treatment of swine respiratory disease. Adjunctive treatment of postpartum dysgalactia (Mastitis-Metritis-Agalactia) syndrome in sows. Alleviation of acute inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders. Reduction of post-operative pain following castration and tail docking in sucking piglets.
