Feline Hypertension

Ceva is committed to supporting the effective management of feline hypertension, a common yet often underdiagnosed condition that can have serious consequences for cats’ long‑term health and quality of life.

Through a science‑led approach and close collaboration with veterinary professionals, Ceva supports the development and appropriate use of evidence‑based therapeutic solutions that help clinicians manage blood pressure and reduce the risk of target organ damage.

Beyond treatment options, Ceva UK is dedicated to raising awareness of feline hypertension through it’s national annual Feline Hypertension Awareness Month, education, training, and practical resources that support early detection, monitoring, and ongoing management—empowering veterinary teams to deliver optimal care for ageing feline patients.

Hypertension Vet Partnership Programme

Ceva Animal Health UK works hand-in-hand with veterinary clinics to improve the detection and management of feline hypertension, often known as the "Silent Killer" because affected cats can show few or no obvious clinical signs until serious damage has occurred. Through collaboration, education, and blood pressure monitoring initiatives, we support veterinary teams in identifying at-risk cats earlier, helping to protect their vision, kidney function, and overall quality of life. Together, we are raising awareness and driving earlier diagnosis to give cats the best possible chance of a healthier future.
