Ceva is proud to support Medical Detection Dogs

Charity of the year

Ceva Animal Health is proud to support Medical Detection Dogs(MDD) as its charity of the year for 2012. Over the course of the coming year, Ceva and its staff will be working to raise funds for the charity, which trains dogs to help people with life threatening health conditions.

Ceva will support the charity in a number of ways; the company is already supplying MDD with their Adaptiltmproduct range, which consists of a collar, diffuser and spray containing a synthetic copy of the dog appeasing pheromone proven to help puppies develop into balanced and well-trained adult dogs.  A number of fundraising initiatives will also take place throughout the year including the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, the promotion of Adaptil merchandise of which proceeds will be going directly to the charity, and Ceva's participation in the Sniff5000 campaign. For more information on the charity please visit their website.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

On 27 July staff and friends of Ceva will take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, walking a total distance of 39.2km (24.5 miles) and ascending the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours in order to raise money for Medical Detection Dogs.
